Dedicated to preserving the history of our local Presidents and the community. Articles at the museum include several items from President William Henery Harrison, President Benjamin Harrison, and John Cleves Symmes, and other items preserving our local history.
William Henry Harrison Tomb State Memorial
The final resting place of President William Henry Harrison, the 9th president of the United States, and his wife. Located in North Bend, Ohio, the tomb is currently managed by the Harrison - Symmes Memorial Foundation on behalf of the Ohio History Connection.
Congress Green Cemetery
A historic military cemetery in North Bend, Ohio, Congress Green Cemetary is the resting place of John Cleves Symmes, father-in-law to President William Henry Harrison.
Congress Green Cemetery is located opposite the William Henry Harrison Tomb State Memorial and is open from dusk to dawn.
Fun fact: At Congress Green Cemetery, you can find Running Buffalo Clover, an endangered species of perennial cover native to the eastern and midwestern United States.
